SledSend Brotherhood — Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 20, 2026
Last updated: October 2, 2026
SledSend Brotherhood is operated by Eminent Holdings LLC, doing business as SledSend, in the United States.
This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. Questions: tsmith@sledsend.com.
Who this is for
The Brotherhood is a paid coaching program for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has an account, email us and we'll remove it.
What we collect
You give us this directly
Account information. Your name, email address, password (stored hashed — we never see it), time zone, and profile photo if you upload one.
Your rider profile. Everything you choose to put in it: a short bio, why you joined, where you ride, what you ride, your phone number, your Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok handles, a personal website, your professional skills, and any businesses you list.
Your profile is visible to every other member of the Brotherhood. That includes your phone number if you enter one. All of it is optional — leave blank anything you don't want other members to see.
What you write and post. Messages in community channels, direct messages to other members, images you attach, reactions, and pinned posts.
Your accountability data. Goals and milestones, tasks, daily check-ins including your morning intent and evening reflection, and your life-balance ratings.
Moderation activity. Reports you file, and who you've blocked.
Payment information. Handled by our billing provider, not by us. We keep a record of what you were invoiced and what you paid. We never see or store your card number or bank details.
We collect this automatically
Usage and engagement data. Check-in streaks, goal completion, activity used to build engagement leaderboards visible to you, your captain and to admins.
Push notification subscriptions. A device token so we can send notifications, if you turn them on.
Standard technical data. Our hosting and infrastructure providers log IP addresses, browser type and request timing for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To run the program: your dashboard, goals, check-ins, chat, leaderboards
- To connect members: showing your profile to other members so they can find someone who rides where you ride or knows the trade you're asking about
- To send you notifications you've enabled, and service email like invites, email verification and password resets
- To moderate: reviewing reports, removing content, suspending accounts
- To bill you and keep required financial records
- To improve the program
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Other members. Your name, profile photo, rider profile, skills, businesses, and anything you post in channels. Direct messages go only to the member you send them to. Your captain and lead captain see your goals, check-ins and engagement data — that's the point of the program.
Service providers, who process data on our behalf:
| Provider | What they handle |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting the application |
| Supabase | Database and image storage |
| Resend | Service email — invites, email verification, password resets |
| Anthropic | AI-suggested tasks (see below) |
| Inngest | Scheduled background jobs |
| Our billing provider | Invoicing and payments |
About AI-suggested tasks. When you ask for task suggestions on a goal, the text of that goal is sent to Anthropic's API to generate them. Anthropic does not use data submitted through their API to train their models. We don't send your messages, check-ins or profile — only the goal you're asking about.
Legal. We'll disclose information if we're legally required to, or where we believe in good faith it's necessary to prevent serious harm.
Images you post
Images you attach to messages are stored in a public storage bucket. The URLs are long and unguessable and aren't listed anywhere, but anyone who has a URL can open it without signing in. Don't post anything in chat you'd be uncomfortable having outside the app.
When a moderator removes a message for violating our rules, we delete the image file as well as hiding the message.
Your choices
Edit or clear your profile at any time from your profile page. Anything you clear stops being visible to other members immediately.
Notifications can be turned off per type in your profile settings.
Block another member from their profile or by tapping their name in chat. You won't see their content and they won't see yours. They aren't told.
Report content that breaks our rules. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, from your profile page. No email required.
When you delete, we remove:
- Your name, email address and profile photo
- Your entire rider profile — bio, why you joined, riding areas, sleds, phone number, all social handles, skills and business listings
- Your goals, milestones, tasks, check-ins and life-balance history
- Your engagement and leaderboard history
- Your push notification subscriptions
- Your captain assignments
- Your sign-in credentials — the account can no longer be accessed
What stays, and why:
Your messages remain, shown as from a former member. Deleting them would tear holes in conversations other members are part of — threads with half the replies missing. Your name is removed from them.
Images you posted in chat remain, attached to those messages.
We keep a record of your billing history — what you were invoiced, what you paid, and when. We're required to retain financial records for tax and accounting purposes. This record includes the name, email address and phone number associated with your payments. It is not visible to other members.
If you want something specific removed beyond this, email us.
How long we keep things
While your account is active, and afterward only as described above. Moderation records — reports, actions taken, and why — are retained so we have a record of how issues were handled.
Security
Passwords are hashed. The app runs over HTTPS. Access to member data is limited to admins and, for their assigned members, captains. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — if there's ever a breach affecting your information, we'll tell you.
Where your data lives
The United States. If you're using the app from outside the US, your information is transferred to and stored there.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, and to object to certain processing. Most of this you can do yourself from your profile. For anything else, email tsmith@sledsend.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia and other states with privacy laws have these rights by statute. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Changes
We'll update this policy as the app changes. Material changes get a notice in the app or by email. The effective date at the top tells you when this version took effect.
